Two steps forward, and that damn other one.

After missing a week of meetings (1 meeting) and a while of posting, we had a great meeting today. It was the kind of meeting that reinvigorates a man and gets him excited about his project again. We repeated the 100 character questions procedure with another one of our characters and got ready to start writing the script. We all agreed to make the movie a priority over all the other things in our lives and set out to make a great one.

Speaking of Great movies, we watched District 9. I won't ruin the movie for anyone who hasn't seen it, but it worked on every single level in my book. It's the kind of landmark movie that raises the bar not just for science fiction movies, but also just movies as a whole.

I should apologize at this point if I'm incoherent, I may have imbibed some.

As for the step back, I've decided to not bother with the daily posts at this point. Perhaps later on that will be possible to post something interesting about the movie every single day, but at this point, I don't have it in me as evidenced by the lack of posting. I'd rather commit to posting once or twice a week and keeping that commitment than saying I will post daily and failing utterly.

Now it's off to bed to think of the movie some more and hopefully get some rest. Aloha all, and good night.
